i don't go in much for new
year's resolutions, but i did set an intention to
put myself out there more in 2026. sarah
often sends me calls to artists but the
applications tend to require so many hoops against
too long odds, but this video
residency at mini mart city park asked
only for a
brief email introduction and samples,
which appealed to my low effort approach to life.
when their reply opened with "Thank you so much
for applying..." i braced for the usual letdown,
but to my surprise i was selected. ironically, i
won't see it in person myself due to
out of town plans, so thanks, sarah, for this
metadocument.
