 One of Sarah's colleagues organized RiZe Up Jamaica hurricane relief fundraiser at Langston Hughes Theater. Gotta admit I felt a little out of place, giving square white liberal* like I do. Merely existing can be so embarrassing. It was sort of a relief when dinner convo centered on menopause and I could just hang back and smile along. The feature presentation was more timely than ever, and I only regret not asking Donisha Prendergast what she meant by saying, "It's time for revolution." I don't disagree, but what does that look like in practice? *mais je
