 in my youth, i agonized over crafting mix tapes, endlessly drafting and rearranging the song order before finally committing the playlist to a 90-minute cassette. 30+ years later, i still have some of those mixes, and even brought some of the selfsame records to this 6-hour marathon set at CHASM--basically compiling 4 mix tapes in a row without a pause or plan. back in the day, recording over the air was heretical, but now i enjoy catching the room sound and side conversations. download this 400M file and you are there! |
