So much of what we see is a projection of how we feel. When I lived in Prague three years ago I fell in love and saw everything as lovely. When I went back for ten days this spring the city seemed so lonely, starting with these panelaky, Soviet-era housing projects along the airport approach which grounded my romantic flight of fancy. |
