| My second day at Coffee Fest and my first as a professional manikin. The first time I stood still was in a GHB trance at Burning Man where even Darby's riding crop caressing my balls couldn't get a rise out of me. Compared to that, the tickles and quips of coffee buyers were easy to disregard--I just kept my eyes locked but unfocused on a point in the distance. Inspired by the human statues on Barcelona's Las Ramblas, I moved only to startle and amaze. And to think that for this I was paid. | |
