Welcome to the Bomb Shelter, a new community theater.
This weekend was bloody and strange. Saturday's gorefest doublefeature: ARMY
OF DARKNESS and KILL BILL (v1). The first was part 3 of the
EVIL DEAD trilogy, the second was the first of two
volumes--thus demonstrating that there's always repeat customers for violence.
Sunday snuck up as it often does with a dagger of religiosity, albeit a Chilean
surrealist one:
THE
HOLY MOUNTAIN. Short subjects included
THE MAGIC BELL by Aurel Klimt, 1999 Seattle hip-hop classic
ENTER THE MADNESS, and recent SHORT
FILMS randomly overdubbed with
Charles
Bukowski interview soundtrack. |
