about 2 months now i've been collecting flattened aluminum cans. not sure why. only knew i wanted to do something with them. i started carrying them around with me yesterday. my first thought was to put coins in a meter and occupy a parking space, but that never happened. outside sarah's studio behind fremont coffee today, i started laying them down in a grid. that looked like shit, so i started making a spiral. much better. i thought it would be bigger. after 8 weeks or so, it turns out i have only 163 cans. i will continue collecting so that by mid-summer i'll have enough to calm an intersection. subscribe to learn when. |
