Don't try to tell me people
are poor because they're lazy. This guy teetered
and leaned into a dumpster pulling out aluminum
cans, market price about 25 cents/pound, less
than a penny per can. When's the last time
you worked that hard for so little return? Times
are hard, the
gap keeps growing, and Christian
hypocrite scolds who confuse wealth with
virtue shun the poor instead of helping them.
With enough resources to satisfy all of
humanity's needs, why are so many people sick,
homeless, hungry? It's not because the poor are
lazy; it's because the rich are greedy. It's a distribution problem, not an
issue of scarcity.
