Took 7
hours door-to-harbor--lightrail to
airport, shuttle to Anacortes, ferry to
San Juan Is., with some waits along the
way. I almost didn't see this boat, so
expertly was it camouflaged. Actually,
dazzle camouflage,
originated in WWI, didn't so much conceal
as
confuse. The question is why would anyone
want that for their
sea-going vessel (as this appears to be
equipped for, inferred
from the electronics, wind turbine, and
covered cockpit)?
