the traffic in
seattle
is terrible because people
here drive the way they park--
total disregard for the effects of
their
presence, no sense of the
necessity
to share the space around them.
entitled cluelessness abounds.
i'm not just being a curmudgeon;
this is about the social contract.
living in a city, one needs to be
aware
the commons
is a shared resource.
this isn't a "get off my lawn"
stance;
it's merely about mutual respect
and
consideration. i don't know if it
helps,
but i leave notes
like this almost daily,
encouraging people to please FFS pry
their heads out of their
anal orifices. |
