another
"day off" here at
Strawbale Studio but
Sarah
is dedicated so we spent the
day doing optional work,
practicing thatching on an A-frame
of lashed together limbs: it's all
set,
peg, thread, twist, tap, repeat.
did i say "dedicated"? when
the leggett comes out,
she
focuses like a cat on a
laser pointer, slight-
ly crazed, lying on
the cold hard ground
to get the best angle on
the bundles from below. luckily
i got the propane
heater up and running in the
red shed, a nice place to warm up in
between.
