last leg of weeklong journey, wallace island to sidney, fair weather but
the
wind was dead against us so we motored all the
way so's not to miss our
connection to the clipper
from victoria to seattle. at
first we couldn't
figure out what type of ship this was
but the name Ultra Agility
was all the info we needed to learn a bit
about this class of bulk carriers. those
pointy rooflike structures on the
deck are actually enormous folding hatches and
the water pouing out is probably ballast
being dumped in advance of
loading.
