I enjoy walking
these lived-in
streets. The quality of discarded
furniture is high
and blowing trash just disappears
into the sky. Cats
abide. The
signs. Philly's directness is refreshing. I
grew up east coast and after 23 years in Seattle
I'm still not adjusted to the mealy-mouthed
equivocating that passes for social discourse.
I'll take perceived rudeness over the
passive/aggressive posturing that ultimately
manifests inhumane policies masked by
a veneer of compassion and empathy. Take it from
me: Bullshit is motherfucking
deadly.
