makes the most sense to me. the sun keeps Earth's water wet and is the ultimate source of all human nutriment, solar energy embodied in plants like this asparagus through photosynthesis or run up the food chain in animal flesh. a similar transfer happens when literal sun becomes metaphorical sky god of the Abrahamic religions whose symbology is rife with stars. pulling food from the ground is a cosmic experience. |
