in tahuya for a quick overnighter to drop
off another
truckload of stuff, took a break
across the road to absorb the sunset over hood
canal. challenged myself to observe without taking
pictures but couldn't
resist and reached for the camera anyway. later,
watched godard's vivre sa
vie on kanopy,
where this
line really struck me in light of my
inability to suppress the chattering impulse--for
what is photography but a conversation
with the future?
