buddha tells us desire is
the root of all suffering but i can't help wanting this hefty 3x12 that's been calling to me from the tideflat since i first spotted it four weeks ago. at this point it's probably more water than wood and is rapidly degrading but it still has potential so we walked straps and cart out to haul it home but it's so heavy we couldn't even flip it over, let alone lift it. but the story isn't over. with hoyt & heidi visiting from amsterdam to- morrow i hope the four of us can carry it with 2 tow straps slung under it. after all, team- work makes the dream work. |
