| I took stock of
my situation: no one was after me as I sat healthy in tree shade on a low lava rock wall surrounded by brilliant blues of sky and ocean, lush greens climbing the mountain in front of me in jungle profusion, the silence of a country road and suddenly I knew I didn't care how long it would take to get there. (Which is good because it took four rides in three hours versus 25 minutes direct with Kai.) |
