every day is the weather now. dare we step outside? we open and close windows based on AQI of the moment as bear gulch fire explodes from 5,500 to 8,257.2 acres overnight. clear skies turn to shit and it's hard to tell where the smoke ends and clouds begin. i don't think i trust my camera, its captures grow fanciful as it makes split second guesses as to what "should" be there instead of recording with any kind of fidelity... this blue heron becomes a phoenix, which is poetically if not photographically accurate. this was just a sunset. |
